Think of Yourself as a Performer
Good performers are masters at using body language and voice control. For you, this means occasionally using gestures to emphasize your main points. It also means keeping eye contact with audience members and speaking loud enough to be heard. Even if you are nervous, don't rush through your speech because doing so makes it hard for the audience to understand. What's more, pause at times to emphasize the main points.
Make It Entertaining
Finding ways to make your audience laugh helps keep them interested in your presentation. Use stories from either personal experience or something you have read or heard to make the presentation entertaining.
Instead of letting the fear of public speaking control you, use these tips to develop into a great public speaker. You may find it is easier than you think.
